A: Yes. Ownership by the client is explicitly specified in the contract signed with TJM Consulting at the beginning of a project.
A: Each set of payment terms is individually negotiated, but generally speaking for existing clients payment terms are net 30 days; for new clients 50% of the estimated amount in a project is due at the beginning of the project and the remainder within 30 days of completion. We do not work purely on contingency.
A: Usually not. We prefer to act at arm’s length to avoid possible conflicts of interest or the appearance of being anything other than an advisor.
A: Our services are designed, among other goals, to maximize your chances of obtaining funding. We will refer our clients to potential sources funding with whom we have connections. However, we do not offer obtaining funding as a service, and we do not accept commissions or referral fees for any funding sources with align with our clients.
A: No. Under no circumstances does TJM Consulting provide legal representation or legal services. However, we do have relationships with top law firms, and we offer coordination of legal and other partner services.
